Mapeamento sistemático em software livre: análise espacial através de estudos sobre a marreca, Dendrocygna autumnalis

Abstract

The marreca, Dendrocygna autumnalis, it is a migratory and wild bird. It is important to carry out studies and analyses on its characteristics, so that it is possible to develop conservation strategies of the species. In this respect, this study aimed to analyze and identify the spatial distribution of studies on marreca, D. Aumntunalis, through a systematic review of scientific research. The work was divided into two stages: systematic review of the bibliography and the elaboration of the thematic map in the Free Software QGIS. The results of the research consisted of the screening of 70 relevant publications, which could identify the presence of the species in several countries in South America, Central America and North America, as well as records in South Africa and India. Through this, the thematic map was elaborated, relating the data found on ecology, health, evolution, natural history and the areas where its presence occurs. Therefore, spatialization made it possible to contribute to a better understanding of the characteristics and dynamics of the species, showing the importance of D. autumnalis,through the production of studies over the years.
