Abstract

The multitemporal dynamics in the geographical space is conditioned to the natural and anthropic variables. However, the latter performs the function of intentionally altering the environment and affecting, whether through agriculture, pasture, mining, urbanization, among other activities, disfavoring the balance and performance of natural processes. In this context, this technical note aims to temporally map regions of Permanente Preservation Area (APP) of the municipality of Colares (PA). To achieve these objectives, secondary data from land use data were used for the years 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014, derived from TerraClass project. Such information was processing in the ArcGis software for analysis. The results evaluation were descriptive and comparative. From this premise it was found that the classes Forest, Secondary Vegetation and Mosaic of occupations in the APP's predominate. Additionally, the environmental impacts present in the study area were not so prominent, reflecting the condition of preservation of the APP in question.
